Every piece is made to order in your size and shipping starts 3-5 weeks after your order is placed, often sooner.

You will receive an email receipt when you place your order and another email with a tracking number when the shipment is on its way.

If anything arrives less than perfect, we’re here to take care of it.  All pieces are made to order, so we ask that you kindly to choose your size thoughtfully and refrain from ordering multiple sizes. Returns generally accepted within 7 days of delivery. Each piece is handmade and may vary slightly in texture, color, and finish.

To start a return, email team@bymarmelo.comwithin 7 days of delivery with your order number. Once approved, return within 7 days. Refunds are processed within 3-7 business days after inspection. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition with tags and packaging. Each Marmelo piece is made to order in your size.

Our goal is to keep this kind of thoughtful craftsmanship within reach, and our return policy helps us do that while continuing to make each piece with care. Depending on the return or exchange request, a restocking or exchange fee of up to 25% may apply. This is very rarely charged and is reserved for exceptional cases where a return falls outside the spirit of our policy or cannot reasonably be accepted as a standard return.

Wool naturally stays fresh and rarely needs washing. Spot clean when needed or take it to a trusted dry cleaner. We include a wool comb for care so it can stay with you for years.

Each sweater is handmade to order and created specifically for you. Every piece is carefully finished by hand, using 100% natural Australian Merino wool. We proudly partner with makers that strive meet internationally recognized standards for fair working conditions and material safety.

Week 1, Sourcing + Preparation: we begin with 100% natural wool yarn, selected for its weight, softness, and ability to hold shape. The yarn is inspected, matched by lot for color consistency, and prepared for knitting. Subtle variations are part of what make each batch unique.

Week 2, Knitting the Body: each sweater is shaped by hand using bulky strands of natural wool. The yarn is guided and moved into place to form the body, the sleeves, and the overall structure. In some moments, knitting needles are used to help define and secure the shape, but much of the process is done by hand. The texture is intentionally generous, giving the piece its character and presence.

Week 3, Hand Finishing: once the form is complete, each piece is refined by hand. Seams are linked, the neckline is shaped, and edges are secured. Loose fibers are trimmed, and the sweater is adjusted until it feels balanced and complete.

Week 4-6, Quality Check & Shipping: every sweater goes through a final quality check, lightly brushed if needed, and prepared for packing. From yarn to final piece, each one has been handled, shaped, and refined over time.
